Tree Pose

Healing the body:
Correct your posture and strengthen your legs and spine. Standing at mountain pose, slowly bring one leg up and fold the foot onto the thigh. Keep the foot as high up the thigh as possible and avoid the knee. Press into the thigh gently and find your balance. Now slowly bring the hands to prayer and hold your pose here. Remember to breathe and stay centered. As you feel stronger and more secure, glide the hands up and over your head. ( Some Variations : Hands together at prayer over the head. Hands apart over head.) Connect with the earth. Hold the spine straight and breathe through the chakras. Improve your circulation.
